Il primo evento in Italia che mette a confronto i vincitori austriaci del Solar Decathlon 2013 (LISI) con il team MED in Italy, terzo al SD 2012 e con i progetti italiani per il SD 2014 e il SD 2015 | The first event in Italy that brings together the Austrian winners of the Solar Decathlon 2013 (LISI), MED in Italy, ranked third at SD 2012 and the Italian projects for SD 2014 and SD 2015.
Il Dipartimento dell’Energia degli Stati Uniti con il Solar Decathlon mette le squadre universitarie di fronte alla sfida di progettare, costruire e far funzionare case a energia solare che siano a basso costo, energeticamente efficienti, e attraenti dal punto di vista architettonico. Le 20 squadre, scelte dopo una lunga selezione, spendono quasi due anni per creare case in grado di competere in 10 gare: architettura, marketing, ingegneria, comunicazione, affidabilità, comfort, acqua calda, impianti, vivibilità e bilancio energetico.
Ogni anno il Solar Decathlon si propone quindi come una vera e propria fucina di soluzioni innovative per le costruzioni. L’evento al TIS mette a confronto le esperienze di progetti eccellenti che al Solar Decathlon si sono particolarmente distinti: LISI (Team Austria), vincitore del SD a Irvine (California) nel 2013 e MED in Italy (Team Italia) terzo classificato al SD di Madrid nel 2012, oltre a presentare la partecipazione dei progetti italiani RhOME for denCity (Parigi, 2014) e STILE (Irvine, 2015). Un’occasione imperdibile per condividere la loro fantastica esperienza e confrontarsi sugli aspetti innovativi che emergono in questa competizione unica al mondo.

Mit Solar Decathlon bietet das US Department of Energy den Hochschulteams die Herausforderung, Solarhäuser zu entwerfen, bauen und betreiben, welche kostengünstig, energieeffizient und aus architektonischer Sicht attraktiv sind. Die nach einem langen Auswahlprozess ausgewählten 20 Mannschaften haben fast zwei Jahre Zeit, um Häuser zu erstellen, die in 10 Wettkämpfen konkurrieren: Architektur, Marketing, Technik, Kommunikation, Zuverlässigkeit, Komfort, Warmwassersysteme, Lebensqualität und Energiebilanz.
Jedes Jahr stellt Solar Decathlon eine echte Werkstatt für innovative Lösungen in der Bauwirtschaft dar. Bei der Veranstaltung beim TIS werden die Erfahrungen der ausgezeichneten Projekte verglichen: LISI (Team Österreich), Gewinner des SD in Irvine (Kalifornien) im Jahr 2013 und MED in Italy (Team Italien) dritter Platz des SD Madrid im Jahr 2012. Dazu werden die italienischen Projekte vorgestellt, welche bei den nächsten Wettkämpfen mitmachen: Rhome for denCity (Paris, 2014) und STILE (Irvine, 2015). Eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, diese Erfahrungen zu teilen und innovative Aspekte, die bei diesem weltweit berühmten Wettbewerb entstehen, zu diskutieren.
