Change is about communicating it.

Just back from Klimahouse, the most important green building exhibition and congress in Italy (the eighteenth edition) for the first time in person after 2020, with a mixture of uncertainty and amazement about being able to see each other, meet, and design together again.

We left the screens, the webinars, the calls. It is really possible now, I mean, to restart more or less as before, with caution, of course. But once again I realized how essential it is to communicate and discuss what we are doing, how we are conducting the change.

Communicating change is part of change itself, we need to tell it to show it is possible. Stories, best practices, projects talk about the change and in telling it, they implement it. I often say that we invest 50% of our time (working) in doing things, and the remaining 50% in saying that we have done them, we are doing them, we will do them.

Communication, dissemination, and obviously education, training, now constitute a preponderant part of what I and we all do, and they help me in trying to make this change real. So, if you want to follow my (personally, as a network, community, team, organization) next steps, you are more than welcome.
