What a year for Living Future Europe :-)

What a year for Living Future Europe :-)

With the support of our Founding Circle Sponsors, we lead this year the way to creating a Living Future in Europe through the Living Future Europe Initiative.

We launched our Declare Europe label last January. Our volunteer Network hosted more than 50 events in the year that spanned 33 cities in 19 different European countries, around two times the number of events held in 2018! These events reached almost 3,000 leading practitioners looking to build Living Buildings.

Following Ursula von der Leyen, new President of the European Commission’s goal: “I want Europe to become the first climate-neutral continent in the world by 2050… to make this happen, we must take bold steps together.”

Our focus in 2020 will be to educate and assist a broader audience of interested practitioners on how to build Living Building Challenge projects in Europe and help spur demand for healthy, transparent materials and Declare and Living Products.

Thanks to all our incredible LF Ambassadors and Collaboratives across #Europe for your amazing commitment. We are looking forward to working with you in 2020 😉

Thanks to our Sponsors for helping us making this possible. Let’s join forces for an even more brilliant 2020!

Thanks to Amanda Sturgeon, James Connelly, Sunni Wissmer, Miranda Berger for your tireless support, it’s a pleasure working with you and all the colleagues at the International Living Future Institute #timetoactisnow the best is yet to come, cheers and best Season’s Greetings 😊
